TCAT Training Facility Groundbreaking

Yesterday the new state-of-the-art training facility for Tennessee College of Applied Technology officially broke ground. The Tennessee Board of Regents celebrated the official start of the project at the new facility’s location across the street from Nissan’s factory in Smyrna. The $35 million building will serve as an extension of the Tennessee College of Applied Technology at Murfreesboro, as well as a training center for Nissan. Nashville Public Radio covered the groundbreaking this morning on WPLN, and a story can also be found on their website. Tuck-Hinton is excited to be able to design such a facility and work collectively with Nissan and the Tennessee Board of Regents. The facility’s anticipated completion date is fall 2016.
