PARK(ing) Day Success!

The third-annual PARK(ing) Day event, sponsored by the Nashville Civic Design Center, took over downtown Nashville Friday. 35 parking spaces were transformed along Broadway, 2nd and 5th Avenues into interactive pieces of public space. Highlights of this year’s event were featured on Nashville Public Radio‘s website, including an excellent photo of our own Dale Brackeen in the Herman Miller Spun Chair. A huge thank you goes out to Rio Grande Fence Company for the chain link panels, Alfred Williams for donating the spun chair for the day, and Gardens of Babylon for the plants!
