Old Spaghetti Factory Undergoing Renovations

The Old Spaghetti Factory on 2nd Avenue is getting a little spruce up–the restaurant, one of the first in the country, opened in the late 1970s and is home to a unique interior reminiscent of old-world Italian eateries. The dark wood paneling, stained glass windows and dine-in trolley car are highlights of the space. The recent renovations include a new entrance lobby, renovated dining spaces throughout, new lighting, and large windows to replace the stained glass along Second Avenue. This facade renovation will open the restaurant up to the street, bringing light into the interior and providing excellent views inside.

The restaurant is still open for business during the remodel, so check out the progress over a plate of spaghetti and meatballs!
