AIA Convention Recap

The annual AIA Convention was held in Nashville July 30-August 1st. Nearly 300 architects from across the state met at the Music City Center for the 2014 Convention – focused on the theme DESIGN. INSPIRE. TRANSFORM. Attendees enjoyed three days of continuing education, iconic building tours, along with time to honor the state’s top architects and firms. Speakers at the convention ranged from nationally renowned designers such as Steve Dumez, Angie Brooks and Bill Carpenter.

The local chapter put out an email blast re-cap today, and two Tuck-Hinton employees were featured:

Dale Brackeen was recognized in the group of newly-licensed architects. He served on this year’s convention tours committee, where he helped to plan and schedule the wide variety of building tours during the convention. Dale is a native of Murfreesboro, Tennessee and graduated from the University of Tennessee in 2008. He joined Tuck-Hinton Architects in 2011.
