2nd Annual PARK(ing) Day Golden Cone Awards

The Nashville Civic Design Center hosted the 2nd Annual Golden Cone Awards to celebrate the success of this year’s PARK(ing) Day. The event was held Tuesday evening at The Cordelle, a two-story brick house-turned-event venue very close to Tuck-Hinton’s office. Everyone who participated in PARK(ing) Day 2014 was invited to attend for networking, Yazoo beverages and snacks. Mayor Karl Dean gave remarks and thanked everyone for participating, and announced the pilot of a ‘parklet’ program will start very soon in Nashville, bringing temporary park spaces year round to the city.
